About the role#
The Summer Tax Internship is a full-time, paid program running from mid-June through mid-August 2027. You will work as a team member on diverse client engagements and gain hands-on experience in public accounting. Each intern is assigned an adviser to provide guidance throughout the program. You will also conduct a research project to present to firm leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing tax services to clients.
- Scan and prepare tax returns.
- Build relationships with clients and employees.
- Participate in firm-sponsored events and community service.
- Complete a research project for presentation to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a customer-focused approach.
- Commitment of at least 20 hours per week.
- Availability for weekend work when necessary.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Woburn, Massachusetts, or Boston, Massachusetts.
- Frequent local travel to client sites and other firm locations may be required.
- The pay range for this position is $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on qualifications and location.
