About the role#
As a Tax Solutions Group Intern, you will work alongside our staff to help organizations manage their financial health. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience, allowing you to craft business solutions rather than focusing on administrative tasks. You will be expected to work full-time hours, which may occasionally exceed a standard 40-hour week.
What you'll do#
- Focus on projects involving cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, and capitalization versus expense analysis.
- Assist with R&D tax credits and domestic producer activities deduction projects.
- Work directly with clients to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
- Keep up to date with tax codes, regulations, and administrative pronouncements.
- Support clients in documenting credits and deductions to meet IRS requirements.
- Build relationships with clients and staff through networking and business development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with an emphasis in accounting or tax.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Progress toward the necessary credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of becoming a licensed CPA.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Travel: The role may require local, national, and occasional international travel.
