About the role#
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern works with management and business teams to drive performance and support company initiatives. You will design, develop, and deliver high-quality analysis and reports to meet business needs and improve results. This role is based on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Use financial and operational data to identify key business drivers, operational metrics, and emerging trends.
- Design, develop, test, document, and implement reports using SQL and Microsoft tools.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Partner with business teams to evaluate opportunities and perform ad-hoc analyses.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate operational and financial results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI are preferred.
- Capability to learn new programs and software quickly.
