About the role#
Premium Merchant Funding is hiring a Financial Sales Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Southfield, Michigan. The role provides exposure to the fintech and small business lending industry through hands-on work with our sales team.
What you'll do#
- Identify and reach out to potential clients who may benefit from our financial products.
- Assist with managing client relationships, including support during onboarding and follow-up tasks.
- Work with the sales team to learn needs-based selling techniques and improve your communication skills.
- Participate in daily team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects.
What you'll need#
- Current academic focus in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.
- A strong desire to learn and excel in a sales environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and PDF editors.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
