About the role#
Prior Labs is building foundation models for structured data. We are looking for a Research Scientist Intern to join our team in New York. You will work on an entirely new class of AI models and tackle open research problems in the field of tabular machine learning.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the development of new AI models.
- Scale transformer architectures from 10K to 1M+ samples while maintaining performance.
- Build multimodal models that combine text and tabular understanding.
- Develop specialized architectures for time series, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Create efficient inference methods for production deployment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Deep experience with ML frameworks including PyTorch and scikit-learn.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with excellent Python expertise.
- Experience in data science and working with tabular data or time series.
- A track record of publications at top-tier venues like NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR, or significant open-source contributions.
