About the role#
This co-op position is open exclusively to University of Cincinnati students for the Summer 2028 term. You will join our Research and Development team to work on projects that impact our consumer goods. This is a temporary, full-time position where you will take ownership of specific tasks from your first day. You will collaborate with technologists and mentors to develop your skills and contribute to our innovation goals.
What you'll do#
- Find new ways to innovate, develop, and manufacture consumer products.
- Understand consumer needs to advise product design parameters.
- Translate consumer needs into product formulation and design.
- Create and improve packages and devices.
- Develop new raw material technologies.
- Communicate data insights to empower team decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a BS degree in a life or physical science field, such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Academic background or experience in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering, or Data Science.
- Engineering experience in design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design.
- Knowledge of computer programming languages such as C or C++.
- Experience with MCU software development.
