About the role#
Proxima is seeking interns for an eight-week program in Chicago. This summer internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work alongside experienced consultants on client projects to develop professional capabilities and gain practical experience in procurement consultancy. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and aid client teams to identify improvements and cost savings for global brands.
- Participate in a structured training program covering procurement knowledge and consultancy skills.
- Collaborate with other interns on a client simulation to solve challenges and present recommendations to senior leaders.
- Build your communication skills through weekly storytelling and presentation sessions with regular feedback.
- Work with a dedicated mentor who provides coaching and guidance throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior at a university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills.
- You take a proactive, ownership-oriented approach to your work.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
