About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain exposure to audit methodologies, GAAP, and GAAS. This internship focuses on building your foundational knowledge of financial reporting and audit processes through hands-on tasks and research.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to help ensure transparency and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess risk factors.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain accurate records.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to support project goals and quality financial reporting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically in your third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program.
- Ability to work on-site.
