About the role#
The Manufacturing FP&A team works with Supply Chain and manufacturing leaders to provide financial insights for operational decision-making. You will gain exposure to both daily financial support and high-impact projects that influence business strategy across manufacturing facilities. This role involves balancing financial planning with data analytics to address complex business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Manufacturing Finance team on business projects to enhance data and analytics capabilities.
- Evaluate make-versus-buy opportunities and develop scenario-based financial tools for sourcing decisions.
- Create reports and dashboards to improve the efficiency of monthly financial processes.
- Use operational, financial, and manufacturing data to identify key cost drivers and generate actionable insights.
- Develop scalable analytical solutions and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
- Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and operational performance management.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate student status, having completed your junior or senior year by the start of the internship.
- Must remain academically active throughout the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial modeling and dashboard development.
- Technical skills in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Location & details#
- Location: Ada, Michigan.
- Modality: This is an on-site office role. You must report in-person Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
