About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits. You will work alongside audit teams to support client engagements, observe professional workflows, and develop a foundational understanding of audit methodologies. This role is a full-time, paid summer internship designed to build your skills in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to help maintain transparency.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
- Document audit processes and findings to keep records organized.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- You are typically in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
