About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice in Chicago for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will gain direct exposure to financial statement audits while working alongside experienced professionals to support our client service teams.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during the execution of financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls and document audit findings.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to your daily tasks.
- Use data analysis skills to assist the audit process.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- You maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- You are typically in the third year of a four-year degree or the fourth year of a five-year program.
- You must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
