    About the role#

    As a Software Engineer Co-op, you will work with a senior mentor to build technical experience. You will join a cohort of interns and contribute to projects within Global Engineering. These projects may involve technologies like Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift, and AI. You will work in an environment that values different perspectives and encourages you to explore new ideas.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and maintain code using Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
    • Add new features, debug, and track issues in Red Hat products.
    • Collaborate with team members, Quality Engineering, Designers, Product Management, and Documentation teams.
    • Network with other interns and participate in professional development sessions.

    What you'll need#

    • Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
    • Basic knowledge of and interest in software engineering.
    • Willingness to use Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
    • Curiosity and a desire to create new things.
    • Willingness to learn and work as part of a wider team.

    • Locations: Boston, MA; Lowell, MA; or Raleigh, NC.
    • Modality: On-site.
