About the role#
Red Hat interns participate in daily team operations and contribute to meaningful projects. You will work with a senior mentor to build technical knowledge and collaborate with international teams. This role involves applying data analysis techniques to measure the health of open source software communities. You will interact with engineers and data scientists to understand how open source growth impacts the business and provide reports to stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Collect and document input from technology users, customers, and stakeholders to identify requirements.
- Research competitive solutions and document their strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop, prioritize, and document requirements, epics, and user stories for new releases.
- Create visualized presentations to share key findings.
- Network with other interns in an inclusive environment.
What you'll need#
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and use data to make decisions.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and logistical abilities.
