About the role#
The Human Resources function is looking for a Communications Intern to support content strategy and editorial planning. You will help ensure team members stay informed about company strategy, business results, and culture. Based at our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, you will work alongside experienced HR and communication professionals to support business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research, write, review, and publish content for global team member communications on the company intranet.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in HR to create and deploy a monthly newsletter.
- Contribute to the yearly content calendar and help manage the weekly publication schedule.
- Provide advice and guidance on communication regarding strategic initiatives, change management, and team member engagement.
- Ensure messaging remains consistent across internal platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status at a four-year university.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date in Spring or Winter 2027, or Spring 2028.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during standard business hours.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and grammar skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Forms.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will work onsite at least 3 days per week (Monday through Thursday) with the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
- Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour.
