About the role#
This is a paid co-op position for a student to gain hands-on manufacturing experience at our Louisville plant. You will work alongside full-time engineers and production staff to support daily operations and various technical projects. This role focuses on applying your academic background to real-world manufacturing challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects and develop practical solutions.
- Collaborate with full-time engineers and production personnel on plant issues.
- Create and update engineering drawings as needed for project requirements.
- Gain direct experience with manufacturing processes and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a university as a Mechanical Engineering major.
- Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to learn and use standard engineering measuring devices.
- A focus on safety and clear communication within a team environment.
