About the role#
The 2026 Summer Internship is a 10-week program based in Miami. You will gain experience in the real estate industry by working within one of our asset management departments. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
Depending on your assigned department, your responsibilities may include:
- Evaluating real estate transactions such as property sales, leasing matters, hotel franchise agreements, and property management changes.
- Recommending resolution strategies for non-performing loans, including forbearance, loan modification, discounted payoffs, and foreclosure.
- Managing, assessing, and liquidating real estate owned by the company or its subsidiaries.
- Monitoring risk factors for properties underlying our CMBS bond investments and conducting annual loan re-underwriting.
- Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis to support team conclusions and committee approvals.
What you'll need#
- Current status as an undergraduate Junior, first-year MBA student, or 1L/2L law student.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively and think analytically.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A genuine interest in real estate.

- Location: Miami, Florida.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: You must be able to relocate to Miami for the duration of the program. The role may occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds or working evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
