    About the role#

    This is a paid internship for the Fall 2026 season at The Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. You will work on-site to assist with the execution of weekend tournaments. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Event and Hospitality Operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage rosters, welcome packets, and tournament paperwork.
    • Serve as a tournament official, which includes announcing games and operating scoreboards.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of all rules and procedures.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for coaches to answer tournament questions.
    • Collaborate with front office staff to ensure events run smoothly.
    • Assist with basic grounds crew tasks, such as field maintenance and water cooler setup.
    • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom maintenance.
    • Support Concessions and Retail Managers with cashier duties, food preparation, and restocking.
    • Uphold professional standards and work with the team to meet operational objectives.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a related field, such as Business Administration, Communications, or Operations Management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • A reliable work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
    • The ability to work long hours, including weekends, as business needs require.

    • Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (September through November).
    • Modality: On-site, full-time.
