About the role#
RoviSys is hiring for an Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thousand Oaks, California. You will work alongside experienced engineers and developers to build automation and information solutions for clients in the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with manufacturing equipment and sensors.
- Architect solutions using a range of technologies from databases and AI to user interface tools.
- Design and implement software applications to aggregate manufacturing system information and generate reports.
- Configure and test infrastructure components for industrial IT, including network architectures and virtualization.
- Travel to customer sites to attend planning meetings, commission systems, and perform testing.
- Develop code that meets established company and client standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Full-time student status with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
