About the role#
As an intern in the Project and Product Strategy Office, you will support Chief Project Managers with the launch of Volvo projects. You will work within the Conventional Trucks Range team, which manages the lifecycle of conventional vehicles. This role offers exposure to how projects are managed across different business areas, including engineering, purchasing, operations, and sales. You will report to the Program Management Office Director.
What you'll do#
- Document and follow up on critical actions from project meetings.
- Update and maintain project documents, such as risk registers, lesson logs, and tracking tools.
- Build reports and data visualizations to track project progress, risks, and gaps.
- Coordinate with other business areas to keep report systems and tracking documents accurate.
- Update and maintain project time plans to help the team meet milestones.
- Analyze data and prepare presentations using tools like PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Own and execute special projects based on business needs and your personal interests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
