About the role#
This co-op position focuses on the design, creation, and management of large datasets. You will work with business owners to understand data requirements and translate them into functional Power BI dashboards. The role involves building data solutions to scale and helping the organization move toward a data-as-a-service model to support daily business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for supply chain functions like procurement, logistics, and inventory.
- Apply UI/UX principles to create intuitive, visually engaging reporting experiences.
- Collaborate with business and data teams to turn requirements into clear data stories and visual narratives.
- Simplify complex data into infographics and executive summaries.
- Ensure dashboards maintain high performance, data accuracy, and fast refresh times.
- Improve report usability through user feedback and iteration.
- Create documentation and maintain design standards for visuals.
- Partner with data engineers to ensure data models support business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours before the start date.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Two years of experience in Power BI development and dashboard design.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, data visualization, and storytelling.
- Proficiency with Power Tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Skills in visual hierarchy, color theory, layout design, and data interpretation.
- Experience with SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and business teams.
- Experience in a supply chain setting is preferred.

- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time (up to 40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $17.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on location, academic classification, and field of study.
