About the role#
As a Risk Consulting Financial Services Intern, you will work across five sectors including Financial Institutions, Capital Markets, Insurance, Specialty Finance, and Asset Management. You will gain exposure to financial services topics like ESG, digital assets, blockchain, regulatory matters, and credit risk. You will work directly with client personnel and be assigned a Performance Advisor to support your professional development throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Sit in on client meetings and support process engagements.
- Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss results or recommendations with clients.
- Travel to client locations as requested to provide services.
- Complete projects efficiently according to timelines.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document findings.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 credit hours.
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
