About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the International Tax Business practice. You will work with a team to support US and foreign multinational businesses with their advisory and compliance needs. The role focuses on how US and foreign tax laws impact the structure of legal entities, operations, and transactions.
What you'll do#
- Support the team in providing strategic, integrated tax solutions for outbound and inbound structuring.
- Assist with IFRS and GAAP convergence and foreign assignment planning.
- Conduct tax planning and research.
- Build an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of foreign tax credits.
- Collaborate with businesses globally to develop cross-border tax strategies.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- You communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- You work well on a team and can manage multiple tasks at once.
- You must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to client locations is required.
