About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for Summer 2027. You will work with diverse companies across various industries, building relationships and helping clients navigate their business challenges. This role requires on-site work in Charlotte, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Provide clients with strategic, integrated tax solutions.
- Perform tax planning and research tasks.
- Develop an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes.
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of foreign tax credits.
- Assist with IFRS/GAAP convergence and foreign assignment planning.
- Collaborate with global businesses to build successful cross-border tax strategies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 credit hours toward a B.A., B.S., or J.D. degree.
- Major in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to travel to assigned client locations using reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively on a team and manage multiple tasks.
