About the role#
As a Tax Intern during Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role provides an opportunity to build technical skillsets and professional relationships within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Review data input and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Work on client engagements across a variety of industries.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong relationships.
- Meet with a mentor for regular feedback and professional development.
- Participate in team-building exercises, social events, and community outreach activities.
- Carry out additional projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated project management, planning, and time management abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites on short notice as needed.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $40 per hour.
