About the role#
This summer internship provides students with hands-on experience in core accounting processes. You will work with our team to handle financial transactions, data migration, and reconciliation tasks. This is a full-time, paid position based in Miami.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the migration of data from our legacy system to the new agency software.
- Record transactions in the legacy system to verify payment accuracy and close old balances.
- Prepare general journal entries for various business transactions.
- Support the reconciliation of payables to ensure accurate bordereaux payments.
- Prepare and review expense reclassification entries.
- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations by researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Process and reconcile claims and survey payables according to financial regulations and company guidelines.
- Document accounting processes and general journal entry procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time in Miami, Florida during the summer of 2027.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
