About the role#
The Accelerate internship is a 10-week program designed to help you explore different areas of the business. You will learn about your department, attend professional development workshops, and network with senior leadership. This is a paid, full-time position located on-site in Parsippany, New Jersey, for the Summer 2027 term. Performance and availability may lead to future opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Complete annual schedules of concession-able revenue for airport year-end requirements.
- Maintain monthly reconciliations by generating and comparing output from the Oracle Accounts Payable and ledger system.
- Identify and research reconciling items.
- Assist with gathering data for external airport auditors.
- Record journal entries in the Oracle general ledger during the monthly closing process.
- Analyze and reconcile account statements related to landlord financial discrepancies.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment at a college or university with at least one year of coursework completed.
- Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related business field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Intermediate skills in Excel and solid PC skills, including MS Office.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
