About the role#
As an Accounting Intern at Black & Veatch, you will gain hands-on experience across various finance functions. This role allows you to contribute to projects that support our clients and foster your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Support financial analysis by providing requested information.
- Prepare basic financial reports and identify variances to plan.
- Support financial planning activities.
- Assist with project financial tracking, billing, and cost analysis.
- Learn to use enterprise-wide business systems to obtain and analyze data.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance program.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screening.
- Completion of three years of college coursework is preferred.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Completion of at least three accounting or finance courses is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Overland Park, Kansas.
- Work is performed on-site on a full-time basis.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
