About the role#
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will perform routine assignments under the supervision of senior engineers. You will apply standard design techniques and procedures while contributing to multi-discipline project teams. This role requires daily face-to-face interaction and collaboration with team members in an office setting.
What you'll do#
- Visit existing plants to collect operating data and equipment information.
- Prepare equipment specifications, inquiry documents, and purchase requisitions.
- Evaluate vendor bids and drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Help maintain equipment lists, piping line lists, and specialty item lists.
- Contribute to the creation of design guides, specifications, and contract proposals.
- Participate in plant start-ups.
- Provide technical guidance to design personnel as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Chemical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
- Ability to work and remain in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Ability to read safety rules and technical manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts including geometry, trigonometry, and statistical inference.

- Physical Requirements: Occasional field visits may require walking, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds in industrial environments.
