About the role#
Sacred Heart Schools is hiring Student Life Staff to support our before and after school programs. This is a part-time position for students who have a Federal Work Study Award. You will report to the Assistant Student Life Director and help maintain our school standards and policies.
What you'll do#
- Supervise students during before and after school hours.
- Lead activities for students in person or remotely.
- Plan and run creative projects.
- Help students with homework and provide tutoring when needed.
- Monitor playground play.
- Take on other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A current Federal Work Study Award.
- A motivated and ethical approach to your work.
- A desire to learn.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Experience with remote learning tools is a plus.
- Students from fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Communications, History, or English are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at our campus in Chicago, Illinois.
- Hours are between 7:15 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Schedules vary based on your availability and school needs.
- This role is paid at an hourly rate of $17.05.
