About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on technical experience by working alongside experienced professionals. You will apply your academic knowledge to real engineering challenges and participate in various projects. This role provides an opportunity to see how a complete design package is developed while working with a team of mentors.
What you'll do#
- Work with engineer mentors on the design team.
- Take ownership of specific project portions.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Apply engineering concepts to varied tasks.
- Develop skills in time management, communication, and CAD drafting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at a four-year ABET university or college.
- A targeted graduation date within one year is preferred, though we will consider students within two years of graduation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to stay organized and manage work alongside academic responsibilities.
