About the role#
This internship provides practical experience and the chance to contribute to projects at Salas O'Brien. You will work alongside industry leaders in a supportive environment designed to help you build your skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design calculations.
- Prepare construction drawings and reports.
- Draft project specifications.
- Perform site visits to construction projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A study-focus GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in REVIT software.
- Familiarity with engineering analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities.
- A genuine interest in the AEC industry.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the AEC industry is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Lakewood, Colorado.
- Compensation is $25 per hour, and the position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.
