    About the role#

    The Office of Technology & Development (OTD) at Scripps Research is hiring an intern to support technology transfer functions. You will work with a team to assist with marketing outreach, portfolio assessment, and database management. This is a part-time position, requiring up to 12 hours per week for a duration of 3 months.

    What you'll do#

    • Create non-confidential and confidential slide decks and marketing materials.
    • Research industry information and competitive data to assess portfolio opportunities.
    • Manage the OTD intranet and website by uploading non-technical communication and educational materials.
    • Maintain the internal database and track business development interactions.

    What you'll need#

    • Undergraduate degree in a life science field, such as biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
    • Strong technical and analytical skills.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of the drug development process, licensing, and intellectual property.

    Location & details#

    • Location: San Diego, California, USA.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $17.80 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
    • This position is paid and part-time. Sponsorship is not available.
