About the role#
This is a rolling Food Service Worker position at the Chick-fil-a located in the Gatton Student Center on the University of Kentucky campus. This role is part-time and on-site.
What you'll do#
You will handle food preparation and kitchen support tasks. Your daily duties include:
- Washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighing and measuring ingredients for recipes.
- Carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators.
- Storing food items in their designated areas.
- Preparing, presenting, and serving food to customers.
What you'll need#
You must be able to perform food preparation tasks and carry heavy kitchen equipment like pans and trays. We are looking for candidates who can commit to the following shifts:
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Students majoring in Nutrition are encouraged to apply.
