About the role#
This is an intermediate level Intern Architect position. You will work under the guidance of an Architect or Senior Designer on various architectural schematics, space programming, and site planning. You will contribute to the development of building forms, sections, and architectural details while working with a team on sustainable prototypes.
What you'll do#
- Develop designs for projects across sectors such as institutional, education, commercial, retail, and healthcare.
- Assist in business development tasks, including writing proposals and attending conferences.
- Evaluate and incorporate design changes from clients or project architects.
- Coordinate architectural designs with other team members, engineering consultants, and specialists.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Prepare deliverables for all project phases.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Architecture (undergraduate or masters).
- Current progress toward becoming a Registered Architect in Canada.
- Strong BIM knowledge and Revit proficiency.
- Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, and Grasshopper.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and jurisdictional processes.
