About the role#
Stewart Talent Los Angeles offers internships for students to learn about the entertainment industry. This is an unpaid position that requires school credit. Interns commit to 12 to 20 hours per week for at least 4 months, beginning in mid August. The role involves significant responsibility and provides insight into agency operations, from initial casting notices to final client bookings.
What you'll do#
- Edit self-tapes and client reels.
- Email daily casting notices.
- Generate client submission pitches.
- Update internal databases and manage file organization.
- Complete character-based script coverage.
- Assist with general administrative tasks like calendar upkeep.
- Learn to use industry programs such as Breakdown Services, InEntertainment, and IMDBPro.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program requiring school credit.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills.
- A genuine desire to learn.
- If working remotely, you must have a computer, high-speed internet, and video editing software.
- If working in-person, you must have reliable transportation to the Mid-Wilshire or Miracle Mile area.
- Ability to maintain Pacific Time working hours between 9:00am and 7:00pm.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Psychology.
