About the role#
STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES offers a Construction Internship for Summer 2027. This role is part of the Project Engineer Career Development program. You will work with the VSL Dallas team on projects involving post-tensioning solutions, parking structure repairs, and heavy civil bridge work. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project scheduling and tracking production rates.
- Support estimating, budget preparation, and cost control tasks.
- Help manage safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Assist with business development and client relations.
- Support the management of field resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel between the office and various jobsites.
Location & details#
- The position is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
- This is an on-site role that requires extensive travel to project sites.
