About the role#
STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is hiring for a Construction Internship for the Summer 2027 term. This position is part of our Project Engineer Career Development program. You will work with our VSL Florida team on projects involving post-tensioning solutions, parking structure repairs, and heavy civil bridge work. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Pompano Beach, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Assist with scheduling and tracking production rates.
- Help prepare estimates and manage project budgets.
- Support project cost control efforts.
- Participate in safety management and quality control tasks.
- Assist with business development and client relations.
- Help manage field resources.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
- Reliable transportation to travel between the office and jobsites.
