About the role#
The Yates Construction Summer Internship Program is a 12-week experience running from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027. This is a paid, full-time opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will work across various markets, including high-rise structures, advanced manufacturing, industrial projects, and federal construction.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world construction projects.
- Rotate through multiple departments to gain exposure to different functions.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on schedule.
- Focus on achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program in construction, engineering, or a related field.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel or relocate for the summer.
- A strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A goal-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- A willingness to take detailed notes, seek mentorship, and accept constructive feedback.
