About the role#
Tectonic is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Mountainville, NY for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our corporate office. You will work alongside HR professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Draft and manage Help Wanted Ads.
- Screen applicants through our Applicant Tracking System.
- Conduct candidate reference checks.
- Handle data entry and general administrative tasks to support the HR department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program for Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A basic understanding of HR practices and a clear interest in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information, payroll, and benefits.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a group.

- Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
