About the role#
Texas AirSystems is hiring a Sales/Project Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role supports the sales team by managing project documentation, equipment selection, and customer communication. You will work directly with account managers and sales leaders to ensure projects move through the design and construction phases effectively.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for assigned projects.
- Create and maintain detailed job files throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize projects by evaluating product selections, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
- Manage multiple projects at once while communicating with owners, architects, and contractors.
- Read, understand, and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Investigate project concerns and implement solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, estimating, engineering, construction management, or the contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in an office setting and occasionally travel to field sites.
- Capability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
