    About the role#

    This internship provides exposure to data analytics and project management within a non-profit setting. You will gain experience working with data, generating reports, and conducting analyses while interacting with internal stakeholders. The role requires 15 to 25 hours of work per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
    • Use reporting and visualization tools to identify trends and produce reports.
    • Validate data for accuracy and integrity.
    • Support the development of data management protocols.
    • Generate reports from the EHR and other data collection systems for grant and quality initiatives.
    • Create dashboards and job aids for reporting and EHR use.
    • Assist the quality improvement staff with monitoring and data collection needs.
    • Support the data team with training on EPIC, UDS measures, and quality dashboards.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing or interested in a career in Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
    • Willingness to ask questions and seek direction when needed.
    • Understanding of the healthcare environment and data needs is preferred.
    • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies or statistical software is a plus.
