    About the role#

    The Audio Systems Design team develops audio systems for live shows, including parades, stage shows, and special events. As an intern, you will support designers in the technical and creative production process for projects across Disney properties. This role runs from January 2027 to June 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Produce documentation, design intent, and audio drawings.
    • Use software including AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Q-Sys Designer, SMAART, and speaker prediction tools.
    • Assist with design and technical research.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, such as designers, safety, production, and facility staff.
    • Help with project organization and problem-solving during installation and delivery.
    • Attend and contribute to team seminars and meetings.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
    • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Knowledge of audio technology and equipment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to learn new software applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older with unrestricted work authorization.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Kissimmee and Orlando, Florida.
    • You must be fully available 40 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday, for the duration of the program.
    • The pay rate for this role is $22.00 per hour.
