About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program designed to build future leadership talent. You will work on projects with strategic importance to the business. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles or leadership development programs after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with laboratory inventory control.
- Support analytical study work.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.
- Work with electronic laboratory systems.
- Support automation work and processes.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 1 year of previous related internship or work experience.
- Proven leadership through student organizations, athletics, community service, or similar roles.
- A track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, and driving results.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Evidence of grit, resilience, and perseverance.
- Strong learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Geographic mobility and flexibility to pursue future career opportunities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (start dates of May 24 or June 14).
- Compensation: $21.50 - $28.75 per hour.
