About the role#
TribalScale is hiring an Agile Software Engineer for a co-op position. You will work on real client projects across various industries from your first day. This role focuses on building software in an AI-native environment where you will learn to design systems that allow AI to reason, act, and automate tasks. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product leaders, and founders while developing practical skills in AI agents and LLM-powered applications.
What you'll do#
- Build full-stack applications using modern technologies.
- Design and build agentic workflows that execute multi-step tasks and interact with APIs.
- Integrate LLM-powered features like intelligent assistants and context-aware user experiences.
- Contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable systems that combine traditional engineering with AI-driven logic.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineers through pair programming.
- Use AI tools to generate, refine, and debug code.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Experience building full-stack applications.
- An interest in AI agents, automation, and LLM-powered systems.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies and solving problems.
- Experience with side projects or hackathons is a strong asset.
