About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring an Operational Finance Intern to support our profit centers. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Boston. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration who can apply their academic knowledge to real-world financial operations.
What you'll do#
- Help accountants meet client contractual requirements for billing and accounts receivables.
- Process accounts payable for vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Assist with the monthly close process, including project cost accruals.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Handle data entry for project-specific vendor invoices.
- Manage administrative tasks such as vendor setup, tax reporting, and compiling invoice backup for owner payment applications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
- Ability to apply classroom concepts to professional financial tasks.
- Commitment to following company policies, procedures, and work hours.
- Capability to build and maintain professional relationships with staff and customers.
