About the role#
CIBC offers a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in private wealth management. This program runs from June through August 2027 and is designed to build on your academic background. You will gain exposure to the banking industry through structured training and hands-on projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete hands-on assignments and participate in technical and analytical training.
- Network with employees, fellow interns, and members of the executive leadership team.
- Develop professional skills through mentorship and leadership support.
- Participate in community outreach activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask, organize work, and pay close attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
