About the role#
Join the Global Markets team as an analyst for an 8-month term, running from January 2027 through August 2027. This role focuses on delivering banking and investment solutions to retail, wealth, and business clients. You will work within areas such as fixed income, commodities, derivatives, equities, foreign exchange, and structuring. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Support senior professionals through detailed analysis, financial modeling, and research.
- Identify opportunities to win business and execute transactions.
- Develop new business initiatives and automate existing processes.
- Partner with the team to generate insights and explain complex concepts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, STEM, or a related program with a graduation date no sooner than December 2027.
- Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- A keen interest in financial markets and a record of academic success, teamwork, and extracurricular involvement.
- Proficiency in Excel and general coding practices.
- Experience with Python, VBA, or SQL is considered an asset.

- Compensation: The expected annualized base salary is $100,000, determined by skills, experience, and business needs.
