    About the role#

    The Student Group Grant Committee disburses funds to student groups and reviews procedural documents for the Granting Program. You will serve as part of an adjudication committee that helps the University of Alberta Students' Union provide funding for student group operations and events. This role also acts as an advisory committee when the Students' Union makes changes to the Granting Program.

    What you'll do#

    • Disburse Student Group Granting Program funds.
    • Review procedural documents for the Granting Program.
    • Participate in adjudication meetings, appeals meetings, and special meetings.
    • Serve as an advisory committee for the Students' Union when making changes to the Granting Program.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be an undergraduate student at the University of Alberta.
    • You must be a member of the University of Alberta Students' Union.
    • You must be a current or past executive member of at least one student group.

    • Location: Edmonton, Alberta.
    • Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • This is a volunteer position.
