About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Safeway Pharmacy Bonnie Doon, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and customer care. This role is designed to help you complete the training necessary to become a licensed Pharmacist. You will participate in daily pharmacy activities while supporting our team and customers.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks suited to your education level.
- Assemble prescriptions and pill packs.
- Enter data and manage prescription filing.
- Process customer transactions and answer phone inquiries.
- Receive and release prescriptions to patients.
- Promote pharmacy profile programs.
- Manage drug orders, including creation and receiving.
- Maintain the pharmacy by ordering supplies and cleaning.
- Follow all company standards and protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own tasks.
