About the role#
The Pharmacy Student role at Sobeys provides a progressive learning experience in pharmacy operations. You will gain hands-on training in administration, professional services, and customer care while working toward your goal of becoming a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and answer phone inquiries.
- Perform prescription assembly and data entry.
- Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions.
- Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Promote pharmacy profile programs.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory through drug order creation, receiving, and restocking supplies.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy.
- Above average communication skills in both oral and written formats.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
